I'm alive

and moved into my new apartment.

I should be unpacked by the time school starts again in August. I hate unpacking. Ew. It probably wasn't the smartest thing to put most of my bedroom stuff in the closet. I can't even step inside it. Too much stuff. Perhaps I'll organize that first tomorrow since it's probably vital that I find clean clothes and underwear(JK. I found that before I took my shower after the big move) before doing anything tomorrow.

I'm also attempting to steal some wireless internet. I keep getting booted off. I'm pretty relaxed now but in a high demand internet moment, I'm going to need more bars. Looks like I'll be ordering the cable and internet package from Comcast tomorrow. I've never had to wait for the cable guy before!!!

Time to publish this post before the internet goes bye-bye.

Busy, busy, busy

I won't be posting for a long while as I leave for the City of Sin on Saturday morning. I shall return very late Thursday evening/very early Friday morning. Then, I sleep and come back here to get my keys to the new apt(!) at 3:15. I plan to move all the stuff my big(but wobbly) guns can carry Friday afternoon/evening. Then, I hope to pay Matt and Andy to help me move my couch, bed, desk and tv on Saturday. It seems the cost of movers is not as steep as I imagined. 25 foot rubs by Labor Day? I can do that. No sweat. As long as the feet don't smell and have socks that match...that second thing is probably asking too much. Not everyone has Sock OCD like me. Anyway, if all goes well, I should be sleeping across the street from God Saturday night...just in time for church on Sunday morning.

Am I going to get scared living all alone in an apartment that doesn't have a double door entrance? Do you want to sleep with me the first weekend? I'll let you be the big spoon....

P.S. This nail polish I just put on my toenails is a bit loud for me. Yikes.

P.P.S. Look for Luau: Part 2, the Unrated Version(as Jeff put it the other night) in a city near you soon. With a grassy area near my new apartment, we can actually play the Tiki Ring Toss game and LIMBO! Yes, that means the homemade limbo stick gets to make the move. It didn't fit in the "Themed Stuff" box though...I'll have to strap it to the roof of the Taurus.

Birthday Luau Revisited

I got this picture from Becky. I think it speaks volumes about my(and Jennie's) personality.

I am satisfied

Kung Fu Panda was good. I laughed the hardest. Katie(roommate Katie) says I say that after every movie I see in the theater though so take that last statement as you wish.

I'm in Jackson. Living the life. Trying to answer these difficult Would You Rather questions Becky keeps throwing at me. She's a crafty one.

We're off to write our first post in the Missoula or Bust blog. Contact me for details on where to find that.

I'm not homeless

I get my keys June 27 at 3:15 pm.

Woot.

Feel free to visit any time after that weekend. Or even that weekend...if you want to help move a couch, desk, bed and/or tv.

Cubs game and a visit with Britta tomorrow!

Never Have I Ever

Well, I'm going to have to put a finger down now when someone says "Never have I ever been French kissed on my cheek."

In case you need it pointed out: Matt(on the right) has his mouth a little too open to be giving me a cute peck on the cheek.

AAAAHHH

I have to move out by June 30. Yikes. Long story short: When Britta and I moved in mid-month, we got until the end of THAT month to move out thus I thought moving in on July 18 would guarantee me a living space until July 31 this year. Guess not. The lease does say 6-30-08. Why didn't I catch that? Or did I and just don't remember? Sigh.

So I might be living out of a storage garage if the place(s) I see on Monday are terrible.

I'm doubting this one I'm seeing will be because it comes with every appliance in it. I've decided that my own washer and dryer is necessary. I would not clean my clothes if I had to leave my place to do it. Hello, stinky Math teacher. But, yes, that place is also right across from Immanuel Lutheran church. You can't go wrong with God as your neighbor(thanks, Becky). As I did a drive-by today, I noticed it had a garage too. Pretty sweet deal for 695?

I hope so.

Cross your fingers that it's not a dump and that it feels like home.

SHOOT. I just remembered about cable/internet. Maybe this won't go as smoothly as planned...
